Parade with Samba Conmigo at the San Francisco Carnival

We are thrilled to invite you to parade with us down the streets of San Francisco for this year’s Carnival!!

Samba Conmigo has been performing for 15 years and has proudly participated in SF Carnival since 2015. This year, our theme is "Shells and Bells" in honor of Yemanjá, the African sea goddess. Brought to Brazil in the 16th century, Yemanjá has a profound influence on Afro-Brazilian spirituality and culture. She is the goddess of the sea and embodies the feminine principle of creation, nurturing, and protection.

To prepare for the carnival, we will have rehearsals at Arete Dance Center, 979 Fremont Ave, Los Altos, CA from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm on April 12th, April 26th, May 10th, and May 18th. Alongside that, we will be having a dress rehearsal Friday, May 23rd, at 7 pm. Take our Brazilian Samba

No commitment to the parade is necessary to take these classes, which have a drop-in fee of $25 per class. Classes are complimentary upon registering to participate in the parade.
