San Francisco Carnival
We are thrilled to invite you to parade with us down the streets of San Francisco for this years Carnival. Samba Conmigo has been performing for 15 years and proudly participating in SF Carnival since 2015. This year, our theme is "Shells and Bells" in honor of Yemanjá, the African sea goddess. Brought to Brazil in the 16th century , Yemanjá holds a profound influence on Afro-Brazilian spirituality and culture. She is the goddess of the sea and embodies the feminine principle of creation, nurturing, and protection.
